These terms explain how you may use Vault Africa’s website and account interface, and where separate product agreements apply.

Technology platform; no Vault Africa financial-services licence

Vault Africa is a technology platform and product brand. Vault Africa does not claim to be a regulated bank, deposit-taking institution, e-money issuer, payment-service provider, investment firm, securities broker, financial adviser, custodian or cryptoasset service provider. Building, demonstrating, licensing or operating software does not itself authorise Vault Africa to provide regulated financial services.

Where a financial service may become available, it must be supplied through a separately identified provider that holds the authorisations required for that specific activity and jurisdiction. Any references to RMI licensing, registrations, partner approvals, BIN sponsorship, card-network participation or other permissions apply only to the named holder, defined programme, territory and scope; they are not Vault Africa licences and do not extend to other services.

A simulated card, account balance, token, wallet, payment workflow, prospectus or investment interface is not evidence of a bank account, issued payment card, protected deposit, funded balance, authorised offering or permission to execute transactions. Service descriptions are technology capabilities, not regulatory representations, and do not guarantee that any financial product is live or available.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Vault Africa’s website, information and account interface. By using them, you agree to these terms. A payment service, investment, card, custody arrangement or subscription requires its own agreement. Reading this website, creating a profile or connecting a wallet does not enter you into that product agreement.

Vault Africa is the product brand. The contracting entity responsible for a particular service is identified in that service’s agreement. A provider’s authorisation applies only to the activities and countries within its permissions.

2. Access and eligibility

Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure. You must have authority to act for any organisation you represent. Service access depends on identity verification, sanctions screening, your country, customer classification and the product’s eligibility criteria. Verification alone does not guarantee approval.

Do not use the website to evade restrictions or misrepresent your location, identity or authority. We may restrict access where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect customers and the service.

3. Website information

Website materials and the whitepaper explain Vault Africa’s approach. They are not a personal recommendation, a securities subscription agreement or a promise of availability, performance or return. Take independent advice where appropriate. Any offer is made only through its approved offering documents and permitted distribution channels.

Images and card finishes illustrate design choices. They do not establish an issued card, funded account, card-network endorsement or an available financial service.

4. Public information and territorial restrictions

Public information is general, non-personalised and may describe proposed or developing features. It is not an offer, invitation or solicitation to purchase any security, token, mine interest, investment or payment product, and is not investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Access to an account does not mean that an investment opportunity is available or that the account holder is eligible.

Nothing on this website is directed to a person or place where publishing, offering or distributing a product would be prohibited or would require authorisation not held by the responsible party. No person should rely on a generic website description as a substitute for approved, country-specific offering documents, eligibility assessment or the responsible provider’s own disclosures.

Statements about planned integrations, tokenisation, mobile money, launch plans, licences, asset valuations, returns and platform capabilities may be forward-looking. They are conditional and subject to change. Illustrative imagery and mock interfaces do not evidence real customers, actual transactions, verified mine reserves, issued cards, available liquidity or authorised services.

4. Wallet connections

A wallet connection shares the address and network you approve in your wallet. It does not verify identity, establish beneficial ownership, appoint a custodian or authorise an investment, token issuance or payment. Keep recovery phrases and private keys private; Vault Africa does not need them.

Review every wallet prompt. Transactions and signatures, if offered by an eligible service, require separate authorisation. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. You can revoke website permissions in your wallet.

5. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not access another person’s account, introduce malware, interfere with service availability, exploit vulnerabilities or use the service for fraud, money laundering or sanctions evasion. Report suspected security issues privately through our contact channel.

Vault Africa’s content, identity and design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may read and share links to public materials. Reproducing them commercially requires permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement.

6. Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care with website information and operation, but errors, interruptions and third-party failures can occur. We may update or withdraw website features. Product-specific service levels and liability provisions appear in the relevant agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights. The governing law and dispute procedure for a financial product are stated in its agreement; accessing this website does not waive your statutory remedies.

7. Changes and contact

We publish the revision date when these website terms change. Material changes to a contracted service follow that service’s notice and consent requirements. Contact vault.africa@vault.africa for questions, corrections or complaints. Do not include passwords, private keys or identity documents in an ordinary email.
